Floorplanner runs in the cloud. This means that all the floor plans are stored in the databases on our servers. For this to work properly you need a stable internet connection, which is not always available or guaranteed. So there is a small risk of losing the project you’re working on because the connection between your system and our servers is lost or unstable 😨😱

To help you from losing work we introduced local backups. Whenever you press the Save button we store a copy of your floor plan in your browser. The movie below explains how you can restore a local backup if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of something gone wrong with your project.
